The founding of OneBridge Benefits is firmly rooted in finance and accounting services—as well as Canisius College. As such, OneBridge recently sponsored a table at Canisius College’s 63rd Annual Accounting Banquet held on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens in Depew. OneBridge also sponsored two accounting students to attend the event.
The banquet was attended by the VP of Product Development at OneBridge Benefits, Ryan Schultz (Class of 2004), as well as Controller, Christina Pietrantoni (Class of 2002); both of whom are alumni of the accounting program at Canisius. They were joined at the table by two other OneBridge team members as well as individuals from The Fahey Group, which co-sponsored the table.
OneBridge Benefits is always honored to be able to support the local finance and accounting community and the learning environments that lead to success. It’s one of the reasons why OneBridge sponsored two Canisius College students to attend the event. Ryan Michael DiPasquale, an Accounting major, and Sean Eric Andrews, and Accounting Information Systems major, both joined the OneBridge team members at the table.
Several key team members have graduated from the program at Canisius. In addition to Ryan and Christina, CEO Nick Knab and Business Systems Analyst Tom Knab both graduated from The Richard J. Wehle School of Business at Canisius College in 2000 and 2015 respectively.
The entire team at OneBridge Benefits congratulates all of the award-winners and honorees at the Accounting Banquet, including The 2019 Accountant of the Year Award-winner, Michael L. Bradley, CPA, Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for NOCO Incorporated and its subsidiaries. For a full list of those recognized at the event, visit the Canisius College website.
We look forward to next year’s festivities, continuing to support advancements in the accounting field, and the potential of adding more Griffins to the team!
