We couldn’t have asked for better weather on Monday, August 3rd for the 2020 Rev. Bednar Tournament at Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course in Lewiston, New York. The course designed by Robert Trent Jones II offered both challenging and rewarding play for all involved.
Over 70 golfers teeing off for a good cause—to raise money to help educate those who are studying to become priests, deacons, and lay ministers in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo. Several OneBridge Benefits employees joined in on the tournament fun including our CEO Nick Knab, our VP of Product Development Ryan Schultz, our Manager of Client Relations Bob Juda, and our Financial Operations Manager Patrick Knab.
OneBridge Benefits stepped in as a premier sponsor for the event, which offered a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, as well as golden ticket and yellow ball contests. The winning foursome for the event, the Dr. Hayes Group, scored an impressive 56 on the par 72 championship layout. We’re all looking forward to another outing on the greens to benefit The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese. Between the stunning playing conditions and wonderful individuals who joined us to play, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to participate in some team bonding while raising money for a worthy cause to benefit our community.
