With a strong commitment to giving back, OneBridge Benefits recently sponsored and participated in two local charity golf events—The 5th Annual Mason’s Mission Foundation Golf Invitational on Saturday, May 29, 2021, and the Rev. Bednar Beyond the Swing Tournament on Monday, June 7, 2021.
5th Annual Mason’s Mission Foundation Golf Invitational
On May 29, 2021, a foursome led by OneBridge Benefits Client Relations Director, Bob Juda, (far left) teed off at 10:20 a.m., at the picturesque albeit unseasonably chilly Chestnut Hill Country Club in Darien, New York, for the 5th Annual Mason’s Mission Foundation Golf Invitational.
OneBridge has sponsored this golf tournament as well as other Mason’s Mission charity events in the past, all having been successful in raising money to promote inclusiveness and a sense of belonging for all children with disabilities, their families, siblings, and friends. This event was just as successful, helping to raise over $42,000 for Mason’s Mission, which was founded by Jennifer and Jason Evchich in honor of their sons Mason and Matthew and daughter Mckenna.
The money helped the foundation reach the halfway mark of its 2021 fundraising goal of $470,000. This goal is to make a longtime vision a reality as the foundation seeks to build an inclusive waterpark aptly named Supermatty’s Waterpark in Pendleton, NY, by the summer of 2022.
The Mason’s Mission Foundation Golf Invitational was an extra celebratory affair with the then recently received news of Mason’s Mission Foundation opening its third 100% inclusive playground in just four years, located in Holland, NY.

Rev. Bednar Beyond the Swing Tournament
The weather was much more balmier on Monday, June 7, 2021, for the Rev. Bednar Beyond the Swing Tournament, held at Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course in Lewiston, New York.
Flag sponsor, multi-year participant, and longtime supporter of The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, OneBridge Benefits had a strong contingent of team members in attendance, including VP of Sales & Marketing, Ben Indelicato, VP of Product Strategy, Ryan Schultz, and President & CEO, Nick Knab, among several others.
Alongside countless other community members, overall participation amounted to tens of thousands of dollars raised to help educate individuals who are studying to become priests, deacons, and lay ministers in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo.
