Fall of 2019 proved to be a time of giving back and benefiting others at OneBridge. Several team members participated in two separate charity walks—one for the Alzheimer’s Association and the other for ConnectLife Blood & Organ Donor Network (formerly UNYTS).

The software and services at OneBridge Benefits support people all across the country. But one of the things we take the most pride in is being able to give back to our local community and help the lives of those close to home. OneBridge had two opportunities to do just that this March.

On March 9, at Brad Angelo Lanes in Lockport, New York, OneBridge was honored to sponsor four lanes at the Bowl for Play! event — a fundraiser supporting Mason’s Mission. Mason’s Mission Foundation of Western New York believes every child deserves the right to play as the foundation raises money to build ADA approved playgrounds for children with special needs all across WNY.

With the four lanes, OneBridge team members, as well as their friends and family, rolled as teams of four before taking part in the Chinese and silent auctions. The event, which saw over 100 people attend, raised money to promote inclusive lifestyles for special needs children through positive play and interaction. You can learn more about Mason’s Mission at their website.

Later in March, OneBridge dressed up for the annual Power of a Wish Gala at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. The event, which last year raised over $320,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western New York, was held on Saturday, March 23, with OneBridge donating money as a “Wish Partner.”

The event brought together over 500 of Buffalo’s most generous donors, business and community leaders, and supporters of Make-A-Wish children in the Buffalo region and OneBridge was honored to be included. The event’s OneBridge-sponsored table was attended by OneBridge CEO Nick Knab, his wife, and eight of their friends, who all share the same passion for bettering the lives of our community’s children at every possible turn. OneBridge has sponsored this event in the past and looks forward to continuing their community involvement with organizations such as Mason’s Mission and the Make-A-Wish Foundation in the years to come.
