The OneBridge Benefits approach to providing people-centric, technology-backed services relies on continued innovation and a strong focus on information security. As we continue to innovate for our clients, and protect the data they entrust us with, we’re building and strengthening our team.
We’re thrilled to announce our newest addition to that team: Steve Heist, Vice President of Information Technology.
Steve comes to OneBridge from the University at Buffalo (UB), with over 25 years of experience as a leader in the service management and technology industry, with a specialized focus on information technology and strategic planning, Steve is sure to play a pivotal role in helping OneBridge continue to push the future of health benefits forward.
An exceptional educational background, Steve attended the University at Buffalo, where he received his Bachelor of Computer Science before earning his Professional MBA. This positioned Steve well as he embarked upon his career as a Lead Programmer/Analyst at UB, later taking on the role of Manager, Systems Software for several years. Proving prolific in that role, Steve was quickly elevated to Director of Network and Communication Services serving as a key advisor to the CIO.
Skilled in identifying the latest IT trends and how their value propositions can better meet the needs of organizations, Steve has already been an integral addition to the OneBridge team. Working alongside our other determined and experienced technology professional, Steve’s expertise will beneficially impact our latest suite of YourWay health benefits, which includes a revolutionary alternative to traditional group health plans—the YourWay Frontier ICHRA.
When asked about what made this new opportunity at OneBridge so intriguing, Steve responded with, “I’ve seen the ways in which people interact with technology, on a variety of personal and professional levels. I’ve also overseen new ways to improve those interactions. In addition to the team-oriented culture, entrepreneurship-like business model, innovative approach to products and services, and a collaborative, value-based leadership team, what made OneBridge Benefits so interesting to me is how they’re currently solving one of the biggest challenges when it comes to how individuals experience one of the most important aspects of their life through technology—health care. And with the launch of the YourWay account-based benefit plans, I’m most excited to help the team in any way possible to strengthen connections between how people offer, budget for, and utilize their health benefits.”
Steve’s adaptive leadership style, extensive service and project management background, and dedication to continued growth will combine to further improve the security and enrich the experiences we provide to our clients.
