OneBridge Benefits was one of the local sponsors of the PATH Freedom Walk on October 20, 2019, located in Buffalo’s Delaware Park. The event was held to raise awareness and support the end of human trafficking.
Well over 100 people registered for the walk, which entailed a 1.8-mile-long trek around the historic park. Along the path were signs displaying the shocking statistics regarding human trafficking across the country to raise awareness.
After the walk, refreshments and food were served, as well as fun family activities such as pumpkin and face painting. The event’s keynote speaker—Director Julie Palmer—further stressed the importance of continuing to raise awareness around this poignant and pertinent social issue during her address.
Christina Pietrantoni, Controller of OneBridge Benefit and Board Member for PATH, attended the Freedom Walk and contributed to procuring some sponsorship for the event.
