The most recent addition to the OneBridge team, Katie Reger, will further enhance the experiences of all current and future OneBridge partners as Director, HRA Account Management.
Having received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Wisconsin—River Falls, Katie was awarded her Health and Life Insurance License for the State of Minnesota, as well as her HSA Certification from the national firm, HSA Consulting Services.
With accreditations and accolades in tow, Katie entered the health benefits sphere as a professional in 2008 as a Claims Examiner, making her responsible for processing claims, adjustments, appeals, and account switches for a variety of products.
Katie brings nearly 15 years of professional health benefits administration experience to this new role at OneBridge, having spent the majority of that time at Further, where she served in a variety of management roles including Senior Account Executive and Principal Relationship Manager before assuming the position of Strategic Partnerships, Senior Director. It was with this title that Katie focused on successfully nurturing mutually beneficial partnerships and enhanced client experiences specific to VEBA, HSA, and FSA accounts.
Having worked closely with OneBridge team members as an external partner at Further, which was recently acquired by HealthEquity with the goal of expanding HSA market share, health plan relationships, and adding private label solutions, Katie was impressed by the team’s overall depth of knowledge and expertise, making the decision to become a team member herself even easier.
”During what has been termed as ‘The Great Resignation,’ many people assume a job change is due to one’s quest for a new challenge, or unhappiness in a current or previous role. But that’s not always the case—at least it wasn’t for me. I was drawn to this position having worked with them to offboard a client from my previous employer to OneBridge Benefits. The depth of product knowledge, and friendliness of those with whom I worked, compelled me to look deeper into the organization and its future goals. I was especially impressed with OneBridge’s commitment to service and client-centric approach. As OneBridge looks to expand into the HSA space, where I have spent a significant portion of my career, I’m thrilled to be an integral part of a company in which I’m able to draw from my experiences, and my personal and professional ambitions not only matter, but are taken into account as we all work to build the best possible client experience in the marketplace! I wasn’t looking to make a career move, but an opportunity to rejuvenate my passion for spending accounts that cater to the needs of public sector clients made choosing OneBridge an easy decision!
